My PvP Paladin Guide to healing yourself
Here’s a really good vid for you, possibly my all time favorite.
You Are Your Own Healer – Paladin Guide
As you can see, a well-played Paladin is thoroughly capable of taking on multiple players all at once in PvP.
One of those secrets to success is being able to heal yourself.
While a strictly healing Paladin or “Healadin” may not be the best class for Paladin PvP battles, don’t ignore the fact that you can heal yourself when the going gets rough.
The opposition is likely to head for the obvious healers first, mainly priests and resto druids, since they are easy to pick out and often easy to take down, so not having to rely on other healers can be a superb advantage to you.
Paladin spells – Paladin skills
The secret to using your heals effectively is knowing when to heal yourself and how to conserve your mana.
If you aren’t a primary healer, then likely you are only going to want to heal yourself as a last resort , i.e. the healer goes down or you find yourself overpowered and outnumbered.
Even then, consider your situation carefully.
Lay on Hands will heal you at the cost of all your mana so it should only be used if you can use it and then get the heck out of there because you won’t have any mana left to fight.
Flash of Light and Holy Light are more effective at healing, but do need time to cast, meaning you are taking damage in the meantime.
If you find that your healing services are needed more than your fighting ones, then you will also want to consider getting the appropriate gear, glyphs, enchants, and other enhancements to make your healing even more effective during the fight.
