Knowing More On Paladins with the Right Guide To Paladin Arena Spec

If you know your stuff, you might not even need a Paladin Arena guide to teach you how to pawn in the Arena but finding the right guide for your Paladin Arena spec is important.  However, there is a difference between a clean win and barely surviving.

There are two main Paladin Arena builds Holy and Retribution.  If you are considering specializing in one of these specs, then theappropriate guide will be crucial.  A Holy Paladin Arena guide is going to focus on healing your team while staying alive yourself, whereas a Ret Paladin Arena guide will be all about bringing the DPS.  Here are the basics that you need to know.

All things Holy

As a Holy Paladin Arena guide there are some things that you will need to know.  This can be a complicated Arena spec to play, and many Paladin Arena guides will not go into the details.

First, let’s discuss gear for the Holy Paladin Arena build.  Contrary to what many Paladin Arena guides will say, you really don’t need to bulk up on resilience to play a Holy Pally.  Instead, focus on getting a good healing weapon and shield and trinkets to break crowd control. Since you can bubble and heal yourself you will likely be the last to die, so you can focus on spell power and stamina.

Second, a Holy Paladin Arena guide should tell you how to keep your team alive while staying alive yourself.  There is a downside of playing the Holy Paladin Arena spec, and that is you will be expected to keep your team alive as much as possible.  That means thatyou will need to heal early and heal often.  Learn, no memorize, where your line of sight is. And use your Blessings wisely, as theright spell can win or lose the match.

Ret Paladin Arena guide

If you want to skip the heals and bring on the damage, then the Retribution Paladin Arena build is the right one for you.  Again, a Ret Paladin Arena guide can give you all the specifics that you need, but here are the basics that you need to know.

First, like the Holy Paladin Arena spec the Ret Pally needs to have mana above all else.  You don’t need as much resilience as other classes as your plate will keep you alive much longer than others.  Look for a powerful DPS weapon and gear with good stamina and you will be good to go in the Arena.

As a Ret Paladin Arena guide we need to tell you how to pawn your enemies.  The best tip we can offer you is to use your spells wisely.  For instance, Hammer of Justice can be a great way to take down any enemy player who tries to flee.  Be careful with your Judgments – while you can slow down an opponent with Judgment of Justice, it will make them immune to Fear and can foil your teammate’s plans.  Have a way to let them know before you do it.

For both kinds of Arena Paladins, don’t forget the importance of macros.  Macros can help you spam bubbles, judgments, and heals as often as you need to.  In Arena, every second counts, so if you can cut down on your cast time you can quickly gain the upper hand. Finding the right guide for your paladin arena spec will give you great benefits.

Cataclysm PVP Paladin

Cataclysm Preview for Paladins

Paladins have seen a lot of ups and downs throughout World of Warcraft’s patch and expansion history, so here is a look at some of the changes they can expect as Blizzard (quite literally this time) shakes things up again.

New spells

There will be three new Paladin spells to look forward to:

  • Level 81: Blinding Shield. This spell causes damage to all nearby targets as well as blinding them. But, there is a chance that this spell will only work if your opponent is actually facing you, like the Radiance ability done by Eadric the Pure in TOC. Also, to use this spell you will have to have a shield.
For a Holy Paladin you will be able to increase the damage done, or as a Prot Paladin will be able to make this spell an instant cast.
  • Level 83: Healing Hands. Healadins rejoice, as you are getting a new healing spell. This spell will turn you into your own personal healing totem; giving you the ability to radiate heals to nearby players. The range will be short but the spell long enough that you can cast off a few other heals at the same time.
  • Level 85: Guardian of Ancient Kings. You will get a temporary pet that looks similar to the Resurrection spell from Warcraft III. This pet will act as your guardian and will have different effects depending on your spec.
Holy Paladins will have a guardian that will help them heal.
Retribution Paladins will have a guardian that does damage to the enemy. Protection Paladins will have a guardian that absorbs damage.
This effect will not last long and will not have a traditional pet bar, but should prove to be a valuable ally when the Paladin needs a hand with a particular fight.

Other Changes

Paladins can expect a lot more from Cataclysm than just a few new spell changes.

All Paladins will start out with Crusader Strike, making it easier for them to level up at the lower levels. Holy Shock will now be available to all Paladins as a core healing spell.

Cleanse will now dispel debuffs on friendly targets, diseases, and poisons.
Blessing of Might will be changed to give Wisdom as well, meaning that Paladins will not need to give specific buffs to certain classes in their group.

Talents and Mastery

The talent trees have been completely reworked with all classes seeing some big changes.
Both Holy Paladins and Ret Paladins see changes to their defensive capabilities, allowing them to have more offensive capabilities, and making PvP Paladins a force to be reckoned with on the battlefield again.

To make sure that Holy Paladins aren’t seen exclusively as tank healers they see some changes to the Holy tree to provide other big heals. Spirit will be used as the mana regeneration stat for Holy Paladins. Flash of Light will still be a fast heal, but will be expensive in terms of the mana needed to cast it. At the same time Beacon of Light will be adjusted so that it saves Paladins their global cool downs and targeting time instead of just mana. This means that Holy Paladins should be able to hold their own as a main healer if they wish.

Mastery spells are an interesting part of the talent trees, giving players an extra incentive to stick with a certain tree.

  • Holy Paladins will focus on Healing and Meditation and will earn the Mastery of Critical Healing effect. All healers will get Mediation, which effects their spirit-to-mana conversion. Critical Healing Effect will allow Holy Paladins to do even bigger heals when their healing spells crit.
  • Retribution Paladins will focus on Melee Damage and Melee Critical Damage, and will have a Mastery of Holy Damage, where all Holy Damage spells will do an increased amount of damage.
  • Protection Paladins will focus on Damage Reduction and Vengeance and will have Block Amount. Vengeance is the conversion for damage received to attack power that is shared by all tanks, while Block Amount will allow Protection Paladins to absorb more damage with their normal blocks than Warrior tanks.

New Paladin Spells

An Insight To The New Paladin Spells

Mastery Rating

Mastery Rating is a stat that can be found on the higher level gear.  Mastery Rating helps you increase the benefit of Mastery, a new talent specialization that you can learn from a trainer once you hit level 80.

You have the option of three different Mastery choices, depending on the spec that you have chosen.

Here is a look at these new Paladin spells.

Holy Paladin

Holy Paladins earn the spell Illuminated Healing.  With this spell targets will get an absorb shield that is equal to 10% of the amount they were healed with a direct healing spell.  The shield will last for 8 seconds and each Mastery point will increase the absorb amount by 1.25%.

Protection Paladin

Prot Paladins earn the spell Divine Bulwark.  This spell will increase your chance to block melee attacks, starting at an 18% chance and increasing by 2.25% for each Mastery point.

Retribution Paladin

Ret Pallys earn the spell Hand of Light.  This spell gives you a chance to grant Hand of Light with your auto attacks.  This means that your next Holy Power ability will not use any Holy Power but will still cast as if 3 Holy Power were consumed.  This chance starts at 8% and increases by 1% for each Mastery point.

All these new Paladin spells will make your character more powerful in their chosen specialization.

Paladin Talent Guide – Best Paladin PvP Build

Visit The Site Of The PvP Bible Here

Playing a Paladin allows you to have the best of all worlds.

Depending on the Paladin build that you decide on, you can do everything from heal to tank to pure DPS.

Of course, just like other classes certain Paladin builds are better for Paladin PvP while others are more suited to PvE play.

Whether you are looking for the best Paladin PvP build or want something that allows you to both level and do Paladin PvP, here is a Paladin talent guide to get you started.

Understanding Paladin specs

Before you can find the best Paladin PvP spec or really even understand a Paladin talent guide, you have to understand what talents are.

Talents allow you to specialize your character in one area of expertise.

When looking for the best Paladin PvP build, you will have three trees to choose from;

  • Holy.
  • Protection.
  • And Retribution.

Holy;

This Paladin spec focuses on the healing abilities of the Paladin.

It can be great for Paladin PvP for teams.

In particular as Paladins are one healer that it’s hard for the opposing team to take down.

Protection;

This Paladin spec focuses on acting as a tank.

While it may not be the best Paladin PvP spec for all scenarios, it is viable in areas like Alterac Valley where there are bosses to tank.

They can also act as good defensive players for objectives that need to be defended.

Retribution;

This Paladin spec focuses on DPS, and many players will argue that it is the best Paladin PvP build as it allows the player to give the most damage to the opposing team.

If you are looking for the best Paladin PvP spec, then you will have to consider the role that you wish to play in Paladin PvP.

A Paladin talent guide will give you some general areas.

Here Is In My Opinion The Best Guide For Paladin Play

It is also a good idea to set aside some gold to respec your character, as you may find that you will want to tweak your build until you find the best Paladin PvP build for your playing style.

Here are some thoughts on places to start looking for your best Paladin PvP spec:

Holy;

If you want to play this spec for Paladin PvP be prepared to be under attack much of the time.

Throw those extra points into the Retribution or Protection tree to make your play more competitive.

Many Paladin PvP players will not spec deep Holy as the Beacon of Light is more of a PvE talent.

Protection;

Again, this is not usually considered the best Paladin PvP spec.

However, it may work for some battlegrounds.

Most Protection Paladins will throw the remaining points that they have in Retribution.

Retribution;

As the best Paladin PvP build for DPS, this talent tree has numerous variations that are suitable.

Make sure that you are not wasting talent points on redundant talents.

Such as;

  1. Vindication.
  2. Or Eye for an Eye.

While seemingly PvP talents, these have limited effect that do not make it worthwhile to add them in to your best Paladin PvP spec.

See you all soon

Here Is The PvP Bible PvP Paladin Guide

Hi everyone,

In this post I’m going to deal with the differences between the three PvP Paladin specs.

To begin with, when you are trying to make your final decision on which Paladin spec is going to suit you best, you need to take into account your playing style.

When it comes right down to it, any one of the three specs can be useful if combined with the right play style, so, your choice should be made based on what PvP role you would like to play the most.

The 3 different Specs are;

  1. Holy Paladin
  2. Retribution Paladin
  3. Or Protection Paladin

Lets take a quick look at each of these now;

PvP Paladin Guide To – Holy Paladin

No matter which  paladin spec we take on we can always heal.

But Holy Paladins are PvP healers (healadins) to the max, they have great healing gear.

For those of us who dedicate ourselves and become main healers in PvP, we must delve a lot deeper into the Holy tree.

Giving the best healing to our team and maintaining the highest survivability has to be our top priority.

We can wear plate armor and we have quite a mixture of self defence abilities, this makes the paladin the fore-runner for the position of PvP healer.

PvP healadins useful Talents  include;

  • Blessed Life.
  • Unyielding Faith.
  • Spiritual Focus.
  • Pure of Heart.
  • And Holy Shock.

We offer fast heals and carry enough armor that we can take more than a few hits and survive them.

What ever you do, don’t forget to throw a few points into your Protection tree for the extra armor boosts and cool down decreases.

PvP Paladin Guide To – Retribution Paladin

All Retribution Paladins are great PvP damage doers.

They’ve become superb DPS offenders in PvP ever since the retribution buff in Patches 3.2.0 and 2.3.0.

The high survival rate of a Paladin combined with the high burst rate damage potential supplied by the Retribution tree give the Retribution PvP Paladin the capabilities of beating any class in a one to one.

They are valuable in both dishing out and soaking up damage in any PvP group.

They hit extremely fast and hard.

If you play this particular PvP Paladin spec, be prepared to zoom from one opponent to the next in order to make the best use of your Paladin talents.

PvP Paladin Guide To – Protection Paladin

Last but by no means least, the Protection Paladins.

They are not a commonly seen PvP spec, but they can be done.

Protection Paladins can and do win easily against warriors, rogues,  and enhancement shamans.

Though they will find it more difficult against hunters or casters.

Protection PvP Paladins are great at Holding flag in Eye of the storm or Warsong Gulch,  defending the base in  Alterac Valley and Arathi Basin or Tanking.

They’re are at their best when it comes to  keeping team mates alive, remember Divine Sacrifice and Guardians Favor are the two best talents for this.

With these plus the Hammer of Justice (improved), the protection paladin along with a caster for example, will make an almost unbeatable team.

This Paladin PvP spec is most useful in Arena, where you will see the greatest payback for being able to soak up damage.

My choice?

I personally love running with my Holy Paladin, she suits me down to the ground.

Well it’s now time to make your choice, which PvP Paladin Spec are you going with?

Still not sure eh?

PvP Paladin – Tips

When it comes to taking a Paladin into PvP, many players tend to either forget or avoid the healing aspects.

On the battlefield, the fight often becomes every man (or woman) for themselves.

However, if you plan on playing PvP Paladin in Arena, then you should not discount your healing abilities.

In the Arena, you must work as a team.

Often the best PvP Paladin spec is Holy.

What to expect As A PvP Paladin

The Paladin healer is a strong asset to any team.

Don’t forget though as ‘the healer’ you will be a primary target for your opponents.

They are generally well aware that a healer will keep the rest of the team alive.

A comforting fact is, you can wear the best PvP armor in the game and this could help keep you alive longer than your typical Priest or PvP Druid.

Bear in mind that you will be under a constant barrage of stuns, damage, and PvP pet attacks, so you will need to focus on keeping ‘yourself’ alive as well as your teammates.

Learn to work in a team, and you’ll all survive to see a win.

Don’t get left on the battlefield,

When it comes to Paladin PvP tips for Arena play, there are a few things you really must consider:

  1. Keep your Sacred Shield on when the fight starts.

    • There’s a good chance that the opposing team will go straight for you.
    • If they don’t, then you can do a quick heal on the main damage taker, put the Sacred Shield on them, and proceed with healing.
    • Be ready to swap the Shield as needed to keep your teammates alive.

  2. Use Hand of Sacrifice to save your team.
    • When it comes to Paladin PvP spells, this one is very powerful. Because it splits the damage between you and another teammate, it makes it harder for the opposing team to take them down. You just need to watch your own health to make sure you don’t end up dying from taking on too much damage.

  3. Save yourself.
    • A dead PvP Paladin healer is useless to the entire team.
    • This means that you need to keep yourself alive.
    • Healing becomes very difficult if you are the target of melee DPS from a Rogue or Warrior, as your Paladin PvP spells will keep getting interrupted.
    • However, as a Holy Paladin in PvP there are numerous ways that you can escape the enemy.
    • Remember to keep moving, Cleanse as needed to regain freedom, use Hand of Freedom or your Paladin PvP trinket when needed, and so forth.
    • The most useful spells Paladin uses are instant cast, which will allow you to use them effectively during Arena play.

  4. Use Holy Light sparingly.
    • Since Holy Light does have a casting time, it is not always the most effective Paladin PvP healing spell.
    • It can be interrupted if you take damage, and if your opponent is taking a lot of damage they could die before you get it off.
    • Only use it if you are sure that you can get one off in time.

  5. Don’t DPS unless you need to.
    • While Holy PvP Paladins can do some decent damage, it is much better to conserve your mana for healing.
    • Leave the DPS to your teammates that are there to do damage unless you are 100% sure you can do so without dying yourself.

  6. Get the best PvP Paladin gear you can.
    • When it comes to PvP Paladin play, your gear and weapons are very important.
    • This means getting a set of gear with good bonuses to stamina and resilience.
    • Sure, you may lose some spell power in the process, but the name of the game is survival in the PvP Arena, so the harder you are to kill, the higher your success rate will be.

I highly recommend this Paladin PvP Guide, It’s helped me become an awesome Paladin

Best wishes Greg

see you back here soon

Hi everyone,

take my word for it, if you plan on taking a Paladin into PvP, then there are some PvP Paladin strategies that you should be aware of before you ever hit the battlefield.

Go Here To Pick Up Your Paladin PvP Guide Now

One of the more important things that you will want to consider is which Blessing you should use.

As a PvP Paladin, your Blessings are one of your main strengths, so you want to make sure that you are using them properly.

Wisdom vs. Might

The two most commonly used PvP Paladin Blessings will be Wisdom and Might, and these will often be the most requested from your teammates.

When it comes to Paladin skills, you need to think about what your role in the fight is.

If you are going to be doing a lot of healing or otherwise using up your mana, then Blessing of Wisdom is usually your best choice.

However, if your specific PvP Paladin style involves more melee combat, then you can use the extra attack power boost from Blessing of Might.

Don’t forget to use your Paladin PvP talents to improve the Blessings that you use most often.

For the best guide to PvP action visit the PvP Bible Here

Freedom

In PvP scenarios where you or a teammate need to make a quick getaway from opponents, such as being the flag carrier in Warsong, then Blessing of Freedom is a PvP Paladin spell that should not be ignored.

This Blessing can remove most movement impairing effects.

This can allow you or another flag carrier to dash away easily (particularly Druids and Shamans that have the faster travel form).

However, remember that this PvP Paladin Blessing only lasts 15 seconds, so you will need to reapply it or another Blessing as often as needed.

Keep up with the crowds get your PvP Guide Now

Sacrifice

Blessing of Sacrifice is one of the PvP Paladin spells that is often overlooked and underused.

For example, cast it on the primary damage takers or an important team member like your healer.

This will allow you to use your Paladin armor to take on damage that would kill a lesser player.

Not to mention the fact that it makes most forms of crowd control unusable on you.

For example, if you get sheeped by a PvP Mage and then someone hits the player with your Paladin PvP Blessing of Sacrifice, the resulting damage that you take will break the polymorph.

You are now back in the fight and your teammate is still protected.

Being the Best PvP Paladin I Can Be

Click here to see how I finally made it to the top!

I love PvP.
There, I said it.

Nothing gets my heart rate going like being summoned into the battlegrounds and taking on a worthy opponent.

There is just nothing like it!

Maybe a raid run your very first time out, but let’s face it, run Ulduar a couple of times with a good group and the boss fights are terribly predictable.

PvP combat never is.

But it wasn’t always easy!

I will say that it took me a long time to get to this point.

Playing a World of Warcraft Paladin requires some skill  after all, I can heal with the best of them or take on a huge mob.

Becoming the best PvP Paladin is something that requires skill and patience (and some gold to buy new gear never hurts either).

Unlike some players, becoming a WoW PvP Paladin didn’t come naturally for me.

I try to balance WoW with work and the rest of my life, so it’s not like I play the game 24/7 and can experiment constantly with different PvP Paladin builds and strategies.

When I play, I want to come and conquer whether that is a raid, a daily quest, or the latest Warsong match.

I needed some help fast.

So I started looking for a Paladin guide that would give me some useful PvP strategies.

I wanted basic Paladin PvP tips, best Paladin PvP talents, information on the gear I’d need, and so forth.

I figured that the more I knew, the easier it would be for me to dominate.

Half the time the battleground is full of noobs that don’t know how to play their characters anyways!

That meant the more informed I was, the better I’d be.

But I found that there’s not a lot of useful info out there, not easily found anyway, you can find a hint there, a tip here, but solid help is thin on the ground, and I didn’t have the time to go hunting for it.

Then I found the perfect solution to my problem.

With detailed help, Arena strategies and full Class analysis I found everything I was looking for in the PVP Bible.

Click here to check out the full Guide on their website

Practically a How To of PVP Domination!

This WoW PvP guide was exactly what I was looking for.

I was able to go through and look up the best PvP Paladin builds for my character (I’m currently dual-specced as a Holy/Retribution Paladin so I can be the most useful) and set my PvP talents accordingly.

The step by step battle techniques made it easy for me to take on other players, even Shadow Priests, who would try to burn through my mana and leave me defenseless.

The Macro guide was really useful, and while I’m not a big fan of Mods (they eat up too much of my computer memory and slow the game play down) some of the PvP mods looked handy.

And the tutorials were a lot easier to watch than trying to read some long drawn out description.

Success at last!

I’m now ranked as one of the best PvP Paladins on my server.

Though if you want to try and spec yours out as well, I’d welcome the challenge.PvPPaladin Recommends PvPBible

PvP Paladin Builds

Hi all,

The PvP Paladin is a powerful opponent in the Arena and on the battle field.

If you want to create the best PvP Paladin, here is a look at what you need to know.

To Check out the PVP Guide that really helped me click here

Your PvP Paladin builds

Thanks to the ability to dual spec, your PvP Paladin can have two separate builds;

  • One for healing.
  • One for damage.
  • Even one for PvP play and for PvE play.

If you enjoy the Arena, Holy Paladins are considered to be some of the best healers for the team.

Generally, players strive to have 51 points in their Holy Paladin PvP talents, and then place the remaining 20 points into Protection.

This allows them enough armor to take on some damage themselves, but also allows them enough healing power to keep their teammates alive.

If the battlegrounds are more your speed, then you will find that Retribution Paladins are designed to kill the opponent quickly.

They can move quickly from target to target, using their Crusader Strike and Judgements to wipe out the enemy.

Most PvP Paladins will find that the full Protection build is not efficient for PvP play.

I highly recommend you take a look at the PvP Bible

Your role as a PvP Paladin

Your role as a PvP Paladin will vary depending on which battleground you decide to go into.

In Arena play, the best PvP Paladins are healers, helping to keep their team alive.

In Warsong Gulch, the PvP Paladin will be most effective at protecting the flag carrier.

Since they can remove snares, dispel diseases, magic, and poisons, and stun opposing players they can help the flag get quickly across the field.

Plus they have the ability to throw a heal out there if needed as well.

In Altarac Valley, Arathi Basin, and Eye of the Storm the PvP Paladin is best suited for protecting the node.

Since Paladins are notoriously hard to kill, they make great defenders, plus they have the power to do their own damage on attackers.

In Strand of the Ancients, your PvP Paladin build will determine your role, Paladins designed for damage will want to lead the forces in attack, while Holy Paladin PvP players will want to bring up the rear where they can provide the most healing to the group.

Lake Wintergrasp can be played similarly, with Paladins leading the charge or remaining in the background providing crucial heals.

Making your PvP Paladin the best

Building the best PvP Paladin requires knowledge of gear, PvP talent builds, and game playing strategy.

Because of this, it can take some time to build up the best PvP Paladin.

Many players will benefit from reading a WoW Paladin PvP guide or even just a general WoW PvP guide to gain specific insight to maxing out their character.

Here is the Guide I recommend for PvP Play

PvP Paladin Secrets

Hi everyone, and welcome to my WoW PvP Paladin Guide.

I will be taking a look at pvp paladin tips, paladin talents, and Paladin pvp builds, in fact everything needed to get the most out of the pvp paladin.

PvP Paladin

A PvP Paladin is a Paladin that is specifically specced and geared for Player vs. Player combat.

In most cases, PvP Paladins are created by players who enjoy the various battlegrounds and arenas, but they can also be effective in raids against rival factions, duels, and more.

In general, a PvP Paladin has different needs to be successful than a player who is mainly interested in doing quests and instances.

Because of this, some players turn to Paladin guides to find assistance with best PvP Paladin builds, gear, and other tricks of the trade that will allow them to be successful on the battlefield.

Getting everything right can make a huge difference in how much fun it’ll be playing your Paladin.

This guide made it much easier for me, check it out here

I play a Level 80 Blood Elf Paladin (Alliance side) with an epic ground mount and flying mount, she is dual specced, holy & retribution, still quite new but picking up some good gear.

Back with more later!
